Overview

The Technical Helpdesk Engineer for Leica Biosystems is responsible for responding to inbound calls and emails regarding technical support requests from customers, ensuring excellent customer service and fostering positive relationships.

In Short

  • Respond to inbound technical support requests from customers.
  • Provide first line technical triage and remote support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and key accounts.
  • Diagnose faults and provide troubleshooting via phone/email.
  • Work closely with the Field Support Team to provide professional Technical Support.
  • Support the sales of service contracts and assist account managers.
  • Coordinate with engineers for timely completion of service repairs.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • 30% travel required during training and onboarding.
  • Flexible remote working arrangements available.

Requirements

  • Multiple years of experience in a Helpdesk function or as a field service engineer.
  • Exceptional communication skills and strong customer focus.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Experience with Salesforce and SAP is a plus.
