Field Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for onsite installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of Leica equipment, working remotely to cover the South Region and ensuring professional service to customers primarily in universities and hospitals.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years' experience in a technical field.
• Electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience required.
• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight trips.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable record.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce is a plus.
• Relevant military experience may be considered.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Previous experience in the biotechnology field is advantageous.
