Field Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

The primary responsibility of the Field Service Engineer is to provide timely service and support for all Bioprocess products and accessories in the Central US. This position acts as the primary liaison between North America customers and colleagues regarding service, parts, and support for these products.

In Short

• Provide service for Bioprocess products in the Central US.
• Perform installation, start-up, repairs, calibrations, and maintenance.
• Deliver excellent customer service to improve satisfaction and retention.
• Evaluate customer service needs and troubleshoot equipment effectively.
• Maintain complete and timely documentation of service activities.
• Manage company parts, equipment, and tools properly.
• Build positive relationships with customers.
• Travel up to 90% to support Field Service activities.
• Work with automated systems and equipment in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Actively look for ways to help customers and meet their needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Field Service experience with electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and travel frequently.
• Proficiency with MS Office software.
• Experience with high voltage systems and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Valid Driver's License and Passport.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and GMP/GDP is a plus.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with automated systems is a plus.
