Account Executive - Field - Remote

Overview

The Account Executive - Field (AZ/NV/NM) is responsible for supporting our incredible mission by achieving assigned revenue targets within their designated territory (AZ,NV,NM,CO,UT).

In Short

• Use sales techniques to develop and pursue new and expansion sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasting and customer database records.
• Provide sales quotes and proposals to customers.
• Bring and maintain industry knowledge.
• Improve selling skills and product knowledge by attending sales meetings and training sessions.
• Use Salesforce.com CRM and other data management tools.
• Collaborate with manager and internal partners for strategy and territory management.
• Contribute as a teammate to other Account Executives in the region.
• Support product marketing activities to generate leads.
• Travel up to 50% of the time during peak selling season.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; education or related background preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of success in K-12 field sales.
• Ability to demonstrate and sell digital literacy products.
• Experience in public speaking and communication skills.
• Experience with Salesforce.com and database management systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Skilled at generating new business prospects.
• Valid driver’s license with a good record.
• Prior experience selling to school and district-level decision-makers.
• Knowledge of online curriculum products and services.
