Overview

The Sales Program Manager is responsible for leading intern programs and developing emerging sales talent, ensuring success in various sales teams while collaborating with internal and external partners.

In Short

  • Lead the national Farm Production Consultant program.
  • Conduct training to enhance skills of sales professionals.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify market opportunities.
  • Foster strong customer relationships to drive sales.
  • Continuously improve the FPC program and training protocols.
  • Manage contracts and customer reimbursement arrangements.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition for recruiting and onboarding.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of program metrics to management.
  • 40% overnight travel required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master's preferred in animal science or related field.
  • At least five years’ experience in sales and program management.
  • Strong preference for experience in the agricultural sector.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing emerging talent programs.
  • Ability to influence and make strategic decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills.
