Overview

The Specialty Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications, monitoring patient compliance, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft applications are necessary.
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy is preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
  • License Pharmacist required.
  • 3-5 years related work experience.
  • Knowledge in drug information and disease state management.
  • Understanding of insurance processes.
  • Working knowledge of inventory processes.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft applications.
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy is preferred.
  • Board of Pharmacy Specialty Certification is a plus.
  • Experience with the 340B drug program is preferred.
