Overview

The Clinical Pharmacist, Specialty will play a key role in engaging specialty members on managing their medications and disease states through a caring and empathetic approach.

In Short

• Guide specialty members in managing their medications.
• Engage with members via phone, chat, and email.
• Assist in enrolling members in copay/patient assistance programs.
• Onboard new specialty members and provide clinical support.
• Answer member questions about pharmacy-related issues.
• Perform drug utilization reviews and medication assessments.
• Collaborate with the Navigation team for holistic support.
• Contribute to the Pharmacy & Therapeutics process.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support prior authorization review processes.

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree required, PharmD preferred.
• 3 years of experience in direct patient care.
• State of residence and willingness to attain multi-state licenses.
• Core operating hours are weekdays, may require evening/weekend shifts.
• Empathetic, detail-oriented, and good listener.
• Great clinician with solid communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage through change.
