Overview

The Pharmacy Specialist will serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team representing UAMS Specialty Pharmacy Services, focusing on providing pharmacy services that ensure safety, efficacy, and positive outcomes for patients.

• Provide pharmacy services with a focus on safety and efficacy.

• Participate in on-call rotations for patient care.
• Work with drug manufacturers for medication access.
• Practice evidence-based medicine.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
• PGY1 Residency Training or 3 years of experience.
• Licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy and board certification.
• Experience in retail, ambulatory care, or specialty pharmacy.
