Head of Legal - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head of Legal with a strong background in Swedish corporate law and stock market regulations to join our team.

• Lead all legal and compliance functions for the company.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team and board.
• Ensure compliance with Nasdaq regulations, MAR, AML, GDPR.
• Oversee capital raising efforts and M&A transactions.
• Manage disputes, litigation, and arbitration processes.
• Oversee drafting and negotiation of contracts.
• Manage board and shareholder meeting documentation.
• Identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, and reputational risks.
• Lead an internal legal team or manage external counsel relationships.

Requirements

• LL.M. or JD from an accredited law school; Swedish or EU qualifications preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of legal experience, with 5+ years in a senior legal role.
• Experience in the gambling, gaming, or technology sector is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Swedish Nasdaq rules and regulations.
• Expertise in regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
• Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
