Senior Software Engineer, DevX - Remote

Overview

The Senior Software Engineer on the DevX team at Kong will design, develop, and maintain microservices and APIs that power the Konnect Dev Portal, contributing to the integration and discovery of APIs for customers.

In Short

• Implement and maintain microservices and APIs for the Konnect Dev Portal.
• Design and solve technical problems of moderate complexity.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for production support.
• Write automated tests to ensure code quality.

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficient in Typescript, Javascript, and NodeJS frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience with Typescript, Javascript, and NodeJS frameworks like NestJS.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience developing SaaS platforms.
• Understanding of git and GitHub workflows.
• Experience in test-driven development and automated testing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, CDC, and Flink.
• A passion for APIs, OAS, and Documentation.
