Overview

We are looking for an experienced sales professional, ideally with open source experience, who will be selling into enterprise accounts. The Enterprise Account Executive will be integral to our growth plan and in acquiring new customers.

In Short

  • Sell Kong Enterprise Platform to enterprise customers.
  • Meet individual quotas and objectives.
  • Responsible for territory account planning and forecasting.
  • Take ownership of your book of business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for a seamless sales experience.
  • Represent Kong professionally and support customers.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as required (30% - 50%).

Requirements

  • 10 years or more of experience in selling enterprise software.
  • Success in selling to large enterprises.
  • Ability to leverage established relationships for success.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Motivated, driven, and results-oriented.
