Senior Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

At Koala Health, we have our eyes set on an ambitious goal: to make managing your pet’s health simple and delightful. We’ve already launched our pharmacy service that allows people to shop for their pets’ medications and supplements online and get them delivered to their doorstep in presorted medication pouches. Now we’re focused on continuing to improve that experience while building a suite of new products and services that will make the pet health experience even better.

In Short

• Lead complex quantitative analyses to assess the impact of product launches and operational enhancements.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas where data can unlock insights.
• Synthesize internal and external data sources to generate a holistic understanding of customer behaviors.
• Serve as a thought partner to leadership for strategic planning.
• 6+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in e-commerce or customer-centric businesses.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with large datasets.
• Skilled in data visualization solutions and presenting KPIs effectively.
• Hands-on experience with Python or R and visualization platforms.
• Strong ownership mindset to drive projects independently.
• Bonus: Experience with modern data stack tools and marketing analytics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in data analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Proven ability to lead investigative data work.
• Skilled in wireframing and prototyping data visualization solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Python or R.
• Fluency in visualization platforms like Looker, Tableau, etc.
• Strong ownership mindset.
• Bonus: Experience with modern data stack tools.
• Bonus: Familiarity with marketing analytics and customer data platforms.
