Overview

The Director of Student Support Services is responsible for managing and supporting Exceptional Education, RTI-A, and 504 Plan programming across KIPP Nashville, aiming to close the academic performance gap between general education and special populations.

• Lead development of long-term academic plans for Exceptional Education.

• Evaluate service providers and recommend strategies for service delivery.
• Support school leaders in developing special education staff.
• Surface best practices for interventions for students with disabilities.
• Coordinate contracted related services for students.
• Prepare reports for compliance with educational agencies.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in Exceptional Education.
• 2 years of experience in coaching or managing adults.
• B.A. or M.Ed. in Special Education preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead high-performing teams in education.

Benefits

• Salary range of $80,000 - $110,000.
