Bilingual (Spanish) Office Manager - Remote

Overview

KIPP Chicago seeks an experienced individual for the position of Office Manager. The OM is the face of the school and delivers first-class customer service to all constituents in the building, including students, parents, staff, and guests. The Bilingual OM also holds a unique role as a key Spanish language communication lead for the school’s operations team with our Spanish-speaking families.

In Short

• Operate a welcoming and efficient main office.
• Coordinate student enrollment and attendance.
• Provide daily support to teachers and the school’s leadership team.
• Communicate effectively in Spanish and English.
• Translate weekly newsletters and family communication.
• Maintain a neat and organized office environment.
• Oversee student attendance and communicate with families.
• Assist with coordination of school events.
• Maintain teacher work room and school supply inventory.
• Monitor student health services.

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• A minimum of two years school administrative experience.
• Ability to work in person, 50 hours/week.
• Experience with IMPACT SIM preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong typing and technology skills.
• Evidence of strong interpersonal skills.
• At least two years of college, BA preferred.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. unassisted.
• Cleared CPS background check.
