The National Paralegal at KIND plays a crucial role in providing legal support to unaccompanied and separated children across various field offices, ensuring their rights and well-being are protected.

In Short

• Supports attorneys with legal research and case management.
• Conducts client intakes and interviews.
• Prepares immigration forms and drafts affidavits.

• Assists with travel preparation for field office support.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree with 1 year of relevant experience or high school diploma with 5 years of experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Experience with at-risk youth, immigrants, or vulnerable populations.
• Experience conducting legal intakes preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in both languages.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Remote work experience preferred.
