Overview

As Staff DevOps Engineer on Kin’s Platform Operations team, you’ll be a key part of building the technology and culture that empowers our engineers to innovate securely at speed.

• Continuously improving automation and tooling to streamline deployment processes.
• Supporting a positive and proactive culture of collaboration across Kin.
• Utilizing AWS services to optimize infrastructure performance.
• Designing solutions to ensure compliance and security.
• Responding to issues and incidents in real-time.
• Mentoring and supporting teammates.
• Implementing monitoring and alerting in Datadog.
• Collaborating with IT and Security on RBAC.
• Staying up to date with industry trends.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven success mentoring engineers.
• Proficiency in GitHub Workflows and Actions.
• Strong skills with Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services.
• Strong shell scripting skills, Docker, and YAML.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• A fast learner, ready to develop further.
