Overview

We are exclusively searching for a motivated Team Leader Purchasing (m/f/d) for one of our cooperating employers located near Gießen, Hesse.

In Short

• Strategic and operational leadership of the purchasing team
• Responsibility for the entire procurement process (national/international)
• Supplier selection, development, and evaluation
• Negotiation of prices, contracts, and delivery conditions
• Ensuring cost, quality, and deadline goals
• Analysis of procurement markets and trends
• Close collaboration with production, quality assurance, and logistics
• Further development of purchasing strategies and processes

Requirements

• Completed studies in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or comparable training + professional experience
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in a leadership role
• Fluent in German and English (B2 or C1)
• Analytical thinking and assertiveness
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, MS Dynamics)
• Team-oriented leadership personality with high self-motivation
