Procurement Manager - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Procurement Manager for our client, remote.

In Short

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for defined product groups
• Conduct tenders, offer comparisons, and contract negotiations
• Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships and continuously evaluate supplier performance
• Monitor market and price developments and identify cost-saving potentials
• Collaborate closely with internal departments (e.g., production, finance, legal) to ensure needs-based procurement
• Implement sustainability and compliance requirements in procurement
• Manage and optimize procurement processes and participate in projects

Requirements

• Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in strategic and/or operational procurement, ideally in an international environment
• Fluent in German and English, additional languages are an advantage
• Very good knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and common ERP systems
• Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and communication strength
• Analytical thinking, structured working style, and high cost awareness
• Team player with intercultural competence
