Application Support Engineer - Remote

Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and application support. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing AWS environments, automating processes, and ensuring high availability of critical applications.

In Short

• Manage, monitor, and optimize AWS resources including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, and CloudFormation.
• Implement and maintain security best practices, backup policies, and failover strategies.
• Provide Tier 2 support for client-facing applications, particularly during P1/P2 outages.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Bash, SQL scripts, or other automation tools.
• Configure and maintain monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, and other tools.
• Participate in on-call rotations and assist in incident management and problem resolution.
• Develop and maintain documentation, contribute to team best practices, and provide guidance to stakeholders.
