The Engineer, Managed Services role involves supporting multiple clients and resolving technical issues as part of a dedicated Managed Services team.

In Short

  • Support multiple clients through the Service Desk.
  • Manage service tickets and provide superior customer service.
  • Provide remote hardware/software support.
  • Act as an escalation point for technical assistance.
  • Manage network, datacenter, security, and voice technologies.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot logs and incidents.
  • Use monitoring tools to investigate potential issues.
  • Interact with vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Produce detailed service reports.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills and client-facing experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years as a Network Administrator or in a helpdesk role.
  • Experience with firewalls and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like ConnectWise Manage.
  • Experience supporting virtual desktop environments.
