Level 2 I.T. Technician - Remote

Overview

ISTA Personnel Solutions is a global BPO company seeking a qualified Level 2 I.T. Technician to provide managed IT support services to clients, working remotely during EST hours.

In Short

• Remote position for South African citizens only.
• Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm EST.
• Must have MSP working experience.
• Requires a fixed fibre line with 25 Mbps minimum speed.
• Power backup solution needed for outages.
• Handle escalated support from Level 1 technicians.
• Provide IT support for Microsoft applications and operating systems.
• Basic network support for WAN, LAN, routers, and firewalls.
• Implement and support remote access solutions.
• Maintain system documentation in ConnectWise.

Requirements

• Must be a South African citizen.
• Experience in managed service provider (MSP) environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows Server.
• Familiarity with networking systems and security.
• Ability to communicate effectively with end users.
• Experience with ticketing systems, preferably ConnectWise.
• Reliable internet and power backup solutions.
