Overview

The Level 2 IT Technician is responsible for providing remote service and support for customers, focusing on various technologies including workstations, servers, and networks.

In Short

  • Remote work setup with a Monday-Friday schedule.
  • Support for Microsoft core business applications and virtual environments.
  • Technical services at the network level including WAN and LAN connectivity.
  • Implementation and support of remote access solutions.
  • Experience with Windows Servers, Networking, and Security.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • 3+ years of experience in computer network management.
  • Professional IT certifications preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues.
  • Coordinate customer support with the team and management.

Requirements

  • Experience with Windows desktop operating systems.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Familiarity with email security best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking and security fundamentals.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in server hardware technologies.
  • Experience with data backup and recovery support.
  • Knowledge of Hyper-V and Windows Server.
  • Professional IT certifications such as MCP, MCSA, or MCSE preferred.
  • Strong documentation and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
