Overview

The Bilingual Family Support Specialist works with immigrant and refugee families in Multnomah County, providing home visits and support for families expecting or with newborns.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or early childhood education preferred
• Experience with children and families
• Knowledge of child development and community resources
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required
• Willingness to engage with diverse populations
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to establish trusting relationships
• Experience in home visiting preferred
• Engagement in reflective practice
