Registered Nurse (RN) Risk Manager - Remote

Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) Risk Manager will support the ICE Health Services Corps by ensuring the health of individuals in custody through effective risk management strategies and compliance with healthcare standards.

In Short

• Enforce risk management initiatives and changes in clinical practice.
• Provide policy guidance and review of sentinel events.
• Develop and revise risk management policies annually.
• Monitor incident reporting and provide training.
• Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and develop risk reduction strategies.
• Collect data and monitor trends related to compliance and risk management.
• Ensure standards of care are monitored in ICE facilities.
• Assist in identifying areas for improvement in risk management activities.
• Full-time position with no on-call requirements.
• Requires a valid Registered Nurse license and BLS certification.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the duty station state.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in healthcare quality management preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
• Ability to work with electronic health records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Cultural competency and integrity.
• Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Physical capability to perform job duties.
