Overview

The Linux System Administrator is responsible for the remote deployment of Intelerad's complex applications while minimizing risks and client impact. The administrator collaborates with the team to analyze complex change requests to determine and implement optimal solutions for clients and Intelerad.

In Short

• Install and configure Intelerad software solutions on Linux servers remotely
• Manage complex server additions, software upgrades, configuration changes, and disaster recovery
• Provide third-level support for complex change management
• Create, update, and improve documentation
• Identify, assess, and implement process and technology improvements
• Develop scripts and automation to enhance system administration efficiency
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies
• Be available to work weekends, after hours, and holidays as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent
• Linux system administration and certifications
• 3+ years of system administration experience
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated commitment to ownership and achieving impactful results
• Exceptional teamwork abilities, including the capacity to cultivate and maintain internal and external relationships
• Sees challenges as growth opportunities and views each day as a chance for continuous improvement
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and other common languages
• Familiarity with NoSQL and SQL databases
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Mercurial, Git, RCS)
• Understanding of networking and storage principles
• Proficiency in software development
• (Optional) Technical knowledge and understanding of the medical imaging domain
