Overview

The System Administrator’s role is to manage, tune, plan, configure, maintain and support in-house business application software systems and network connections to ensure high levels of availability and security of the supported business applications.

In Short

Manage and support business application software systems and network connections.
Work with cloud hosted vendors for system availability and security.
Participate in capacity planning and strategic goals development.
Coordinate with network engineering and database administration.
Ensure integrity and security of enterprise data.
Implement backup and disaster recovery plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
Support application development teams throughout project lifecycles.
Provide on-call technical support.
Engage in continuous improvement of technologies.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in computer science or 3 years equivalent experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft systems and networking.
Technical knowledge of TCP/IP, Microsoft Windows Server, and Powershell.
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and related services.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
Team-oriented attitude and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or 3-6+ years related experience.
