Overview

As a System Administrator in our North American Driver and Vehicle Solutions (DVIS) group, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the systems that underpin our suite of driver information system solutions for our US customers.

In Short

  • Manage, maintain, and support systems for driver information solutions.
  • Install, configure, and virtualize server hardware.
  • Pro-actively monitor system performance and ensure reliability of IT services.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage user accounts and provide technical support.
  • Implement backup solutions and disaster recovery plans.
  • Configure and maintain network infrastructure.
  • Enforce security policies and conduct security audits.
  • Document system configurations and maintain IT asset records.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of system administration experience.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and IT security principles.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies like VMWare.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Knowledge of cloud services like AWS or Azure.
  • Certifications like CISSP, ITIL, or MCSE are assets.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English and ability to work outside standard hours as required.
