IT Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Implement, integrate and support Insurity infrastructure across business units.
• Perform research on complex infrastructure technologies and tools; provide design and implementation guidance of infrastructure & tools.
• Identification & Troubleshooting of complex problems, provide Root Cause Analysis, create problem resolution guidance.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups, patch management, and updates.
• Document, resolve and/or escalate incidents in help desk ticket queue.
• Install, configure, and maintain approved infrastructure and software components.
• Provide high level support for network communications managed by Next Generation equipment.
• Build and operate Azure Infrastructure in accordance with best practices.
• Participate in After-Hours On Call Rotation.
• Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related IT work experience, enterprise VMware and/or Azure environment experience preferred.
• 5+ years of related work experience in Networking and Firewall technologies.
• Highly proficient in analytical and critical thinking.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Strong time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities or tasks.
• Self-starter and quick learner.
• Ability to collaborate and work autonomously.
