Overview

The Business Development Director, Strategic Partners is responsible for selling Inovalon Provider EDI solutions to clearinghouses, revenue cycle management companies, practice management software vendors and other strategic partners within the healthcare industry. They are directly responsible for developing and acquiring new strategic partners and selling additional services into established accounts.

In Short

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Inovalon Provider's strategic partner product suite.
  • Sell Inovalon Core Medicare EDI services to strategic partners.
  • Responsible for prospecting and building a pipeline for new business development.
  • Coordinate with resources to achieve company targets.
  • Support tracking and reporting of business development efforts.
  • Serve as an ambassador at industry conferences and meetings.
  • Conduct market research to identify client needs and solutions.
  • Participate in strategic development initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and HIPAA requirements.
  • Fulfill responsibilities for operational and financial success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales/channel development experience.
  • Attention to detail and documentation discipline.
  • Experience in healthcare industry preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Outgoing and professional demeanor.
  • Consultative sales process experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and conferences.
  • Ability to communicate technical benefits of solutions.
  • Team-oriented approach to sales.
