Overview

The Business Development Director will serve as a key leader in the critical growth engine for Inovalon by contributing to the securing of large, multi-year services contracts. This role serves as a market expert and business development catalyst through developing deep knowledge of the market and key developments in the healthcare sector specific to the clinical side of healthcare, patient safety, and care management.

In Short

  • Lead prospecting and pipeline building for new business development.
  • Ensure successful handoff of new business to implementation personnel.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Clinical and Healthcare SaaS Sales.
  • Aptitude for managing complex, consultative sales processes.
  • Track record of managing relationships with Director, VP, and C-Suite clients.
  • Deep experience in project management across teams.
  • Attention to detail and documentation discipline.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, especially Clinical operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Outgoing and professional demeanor.
  • Experience in management consulting preferred.
  • Must be available to travel routinely.
