Overview

The National Account Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and acquiring new strategically important large customers. This role focuses on expanding Miner's national account portfolio, developing new business relationships, and converting prospects into long-term clients.

In Short

  • Identifies and pursues new potential national account opportunities
  • Develops and implements strategies to penetrate new accounts and markets
  • Manages and executes national account readiness process
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure account readiness
  • Prepares and delivers high-impact presentations to C-level executives
  • Negotiates contracts and service agreements with new national accounts
  • Provides leadership and coaching to sellers across Miner Regions
  • Supports Digital Marketing efforts with success stories and white papers
  • Reports to the VP National Accounts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in new business development
  • Outstanding negotiation skills
  • Strong relationship building and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • Ability to travel extensively to meet with prospective clients
