Field Service Technician - Warranty/Repair - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Technician will perform commissioning as well as mechanical and electrical hands-on field service work on Jenbacher Gas Engines, including troubleshooting, periodic maintenance, and minor overhaul.

In Short

• Execute service on engines in compliance with maintenance protocols.
• Carry out minor repairs in addition to planned maintenance.
• Perform major engine service in collaboration with colleagues.
• Complete rebuilds of in-frames including engine, gearbox, and generators.
• Monitor activities of maintenance compliant to EHS protocol.
• Analyze engine failures within mechanics, electronics, and software systems.
• Troubleshoot electronic and mechanical issues with engines.
• Prepare site visit reports detailing actions taken and results achieved.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
• Ability to work remotely, as required.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to meet insurability standards to drive a company vehicle.
