Field Service Technician - Remote

You'll also be a key point of contact for clients, providing training and support to ensure optimal equipment performance. In Short

• Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs of equipment and be available for customer care at short notice.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment in coordination with clients.
• Provide advisory services during equipment installation, service and repair visits.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals for required maintenance and service.
• Prepare and submit inspection, service, time sheets, and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Inspect assembled equipment to ensure proper installation and operation.
• Consult with the engineering team to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance.
• Ensure timely communication with customers regarding installation status.
• Supervise or train customer employees in equipment testing and adjustments.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician, preferred.
• AS, AAS, or equivalent education/work experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% domestically and internationally.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement instruments.
• Self-starter with excellent teamwork and deadline management.
• Strong independent work ethic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office and web-based databases.
• Experience with multimillion-dollar capital equipment installation.
• Experience with high-pressure cutting machines is desired.
