Overview

The Field Service Technician is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and networks at customer locations.

In Short

  • Be the face of PAR service excellence for customers.
  • Provide quality support and customer care.
  • Troubleshoot and repair units and networks at customer sites.
  • Respond to customer calls in accordance with established SLAs.
  • Manage company inventory of parts and company vehicle.
  • Provide ongoing training regarding POS operations.
  • Flexibility to work after hours and weekends.
  • Potential travel outside coverage area may be required.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking for quick decision-making.

Requirements

  • Customer and quality-focused mindset.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with microprocessor-based equipment.
  • Experience with inventory management.
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Clean driver’s license required.
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift 50lbs.
  • Familiarity with network cabling.
  • Understanding of AC power and grounding effects.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
