Field Service Technician - Warranty/Repair - Western United States - Remote

Overview

This Field Service Technician will perform commissioning as well as mechanical and/or electrical hands-on field service work on Jenbacher Gas Engines, including troubleshooting, periodic maintenance, and minor overhaul.

In Short

• Execute service on engines in compliance with maintenance protocol.
• Carry out minor repairs on engines.
• Perform major engine service in collaboration with colleagues.
• Complete rebuilds of in-frames including engine, gearbox, and generators.
• Monitor maintenance activities compliant with EHS protocol.
• Analyze engine failures within mechanics, electronics, and associated software systems.
• Troubleshoot electronic and/or mechanical issues with engines.
• Prepare site visit reports detailing actions taken and results achieved.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Work effectively as part of a team or independently.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
• Ability and willingness to work remotely, as required.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to meet and maintain insurability standards for driving a company vehicle.
