Data Scientist / LLM Engineer - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a versatile Data Scientist / LLM Engineer who is passionate about solving real-world semiconductor manufacturing problems with advanced analytics, machine learning, and large language models (LLMs). You’ll join a high-impact team to build, fine-tune, and integrate LLM-powered solutions into production systems that deliver measurable value and delight our large customer base of manufacturing facilities around the world.

In Short

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning features and applications focused on LLM-based solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs.
• Prototype and scale NLP systems using state-of-the-art tools.
• Contribute to internal frameworks for data pipelines and model governance.
• Conduct data wrangling, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• 3+ years experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in Python and data science libraries.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and NLP toolkits.
• Experience with cloud platforms and ML ops tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.

Requirements

• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation and vector databases.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL & PL/SQL.
• Exposure to web application development.
• Prior work integrating LLMs with web apps.
• Experience with fine-tuning transformer models.
• Contributions to open-source projects in NLP/ML.
