Semiconductor Applications Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Semiconductor Applications Engineer at INFICON will be responsible for deploying fault detection software and sensors, as well as developing new applications for the Intelligent Manufacturing Systems Product Group. This position involves working remotely while also traveling to customer sites.

In Short

• Deploy and support sensor integration and FabGuard Software Platform.
• Create recipes and analyze data for fault detection.
• Provide technical assistance and feedback to customers.
• Identify new process areas for INFICON’s technology.
• Provide onsite training for INFICON products.
• Support installation of INFICON equipment.
• Work closely with the sales team to develop new opportunities.
• Travel approximately 20-25% domestically and internationally.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Adapt to various field situations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
• 2-5+ years of experience in Semiconductors.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor processes and tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
