Applications Engineer - Remote

Overview

CPM is looking for an Applications Engineer with emphasis on size reduction and pelleting of Biomass and Alternative Fuels. This position also supports the size reduction efforts of our Industrial segment.

In Short

• Assist customers in providing technical and or process information
• Properly size equipment and prepare quotes in SAP
• Become proficient in product knowledge and assist in troubleshooting
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with defined follow up
• Willing to travel for training, seminars, and trade shows
• Communicate progress and outstanding issues with supervisor
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities, quotes, and contacts
• Attend industry trade shows
• Perform additional related duties as needed
• Conduct themselves professionally with customers and colleagues

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in business or technical field preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate technical information
• Customer service, sales support or project management experience a plus
• High integrity and ethics
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to travel as needed – up to 50% including International
