Solutions Architect - Remote

Overview

ICF is hiring for a Solutions Architect to translate business needs into application solution architecture requirements, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory policies while leading a team of software developers.

In Short

• Translate business needs into application architecture requirements.
• Inform the balance of security, tech debt, and feature work.
• Estimate financial impacts of architecture alternatives.
• Support and drive future development of the platform.
• Evaluate legacy applications and make design recommendations.
• Own the technical roadmap and collaborate with project managers.
• Provide operations support for legacy systems.
• Mentor development teams and ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of software developers.
• Perform proofs-of-concept for technology evaluation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture.
• 7+ years with Microsoft Azure services.
• 2+ years of experience with Azure's AI/ML services.
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident required.
• Experience in Agile and Scaled Agile teams.
• Knowledge of microservices and serverless architecture.
• Experience with Terraform for IaC implementation.
