BI & Analytics Engineer - Remote

Overview

HyerTek is seeking a BI & Analytics Engineer to support the delivery of mission and operational analytics solutions for a federal government customer.

In Short

• Candidates must reside within commutable distance of Washington, DC Metro Area.
• Position requires 2–3 days per week onsite.
• Remote work is allowed for remaining days.
• 7–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics preferred.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational data modeling are essential.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Position of Trust required.

Requirements

• Experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or Data Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
• Experience building analytics-focused data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Azure-based analytics services.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with data access controls and security in analytics platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot data quality issues across pipelines and reports.
• Experience integrating data from various platforms and tools.
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytics deliverables.
