Analytics Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Analytics Engineer plays a pivotal role in shaping ESFM’s modern data platform and enabling the business to make better, faster, and more trusted decisions. This role is responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data models in Snowflake, developing robust ELT pipelines with dbt, and enabling consistent analytics across Power BI and Google Looker.

• Design and maintain dbt models for analytics-ready datasets.
• Apply dimensional modeling principles for optimized reporting.
• Develop automated ELT pipelines in dbt and Snowflake.
• Build semantic layers in Power BI and Looker for consistent KPIs.

• Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance.

• Ensure data quality through testing frameworks.

• Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with dbt and Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency in SQL with large datasets.
• Experience with Power BI and/or Looker.
• Knowledge of data observability and governance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ownership.
