In Short

• Oversee all phases of employment-related litigation and arbitration matters.
• Collaborate with internal legal teams and business leaders.
• Manage outside counsel to ensure cost-effective outcomes.
• Conduct internal investigations related to employment matters.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and monitor regulatory developments.
• Work closely with HR, finance, and operations departments.
• Develop litigation and arbitration strategies.
• Communicate legal issues clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• 10+ years of experience in employment litigation and arbitration.
• Expertise in employment law and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of arbitration procedures.
• Experience managing outside counsel and legal budgets.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Resourceful self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Ability to seek pragmatic solutions to mitigate risks.
• Experience with in-house litigation and arbitration is a plus.
