Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Partnerships Lead to join our Partnerships team. This individual will initially focus on new partner pipeline development, helping identify, cultivate, and secure strategic relationships that align with Headspace’s growth objectives.

In Short

  • Pipeline Development: Independently source and develop high-impact partnership opportunities aligned to our GTM strategy and target segments.
  • End-to-End Management: Own the full lifecycle of strategic partnerships — from opportunity identification through contract execution, implementation, and growth planning.
  • Sales & Relationship Management: Act as both a hunter and farmer — driving new revenue opportunities while cultivating long-term partner success.
  • Contracting & Account Planning: Lead contracting processes in partnership with Legal and Finance; create and execute detailed account plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to align on goals and ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Revenue & Retention: Be accountable for achieving Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) retention goals.
  • Strategic Insights: Proactively synthesize partner feedback and emerging trends to inform product and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in partnerships, business development, account management, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of building and managing high-value partnerships.
  • Strong negotiation and contracting experience.
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding ARR and retention goals.
  • Comfort navigating cross-functional environments.
