Overview

As Counsel, Litigation & Risk Management, you will help lead the company’s response to employment-related and operational disputes, and help proactively manage legal risk across a large, multi-state care network.

In Short

  • Manage strategy for employment-related disputes and improve outcomes.
  • Provide advice on non-employment claims and operational risks.
  • Draft and respond to attorney demand letters and pre-litigation correspondence.
  • Partner cross-functionally to provide practical, risk-balanced legal advice.
  • Identify systemic legal risks and develop scalable solutions.
  • Manage outside counsel and litigation spend.
  • Represent the company in administrative proceedings.
  • Help build and enhance legal processes and training materials.
  • Support internal investigations and sensitive employee matters.

Requirements

  • J.D. and active bar membership with 4–6 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Strong employment law and litigation experience.
  • Deep knowledge of California wage & hour law.
  • Experience drafting employment documents and litigation strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and practical, solutions-oriented mindset.
