Overview

We are currently seeking a seasoned Service Sales professional to serve Hitachi Energy as a Service Sales Account Manager (SSAM). This position will primarily focus on the West Region, targeting cities like Seattle, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, and Las Vegas.

In Short

  • Present service solutions to new and existing clients.
  • Drive service sales of electrical power equipment substation services.
  • Develop and implement service sales account plans.
  • Establish long-term customer relationships.
  • Conduct sales calls and facility walk-throughs.
  • Utilize ServIS database for sales opportunities.
  • Participate in marketing activities and trade fairs.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and ensure compliance.
  • Provide technical direction for service sales training.
  • Support management with market insights and opportunity tracking.

Requirements

  • 3-9 years of experience in sales or service of power systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical discipline preferred.
  • Familiarity with Hitachi Energy power products and services.
  • Willingness to travel 60% of the time.
  • Technical sales experience with electric substation equipment preferred.
  • Experience negotiating long-term substation service contracts.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and regulations.
  • Experience with substation construction and operations.
  • Work authorization for the USA required.
