Overview

We are currently seeking a seasoned Service Sales professional to serve Hitachi Energy as a Service Sales Account Manager (SSAM), focusing on driving service sales of electrical power equipment substation services and projects.

In Short

  • Position focused on service sales for electrical power equipment.
  • Responsibilities include developing service sales account plans.
  • Establish long-term customer relationships.
  • Conduct sales calls and customer facility walk-throughs.
  • Utilize ServIS database to identify sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technical expertise for service solutions.
  • Support marketing activities and trade fairs.
  • Contribute to risk assessments related to pricing and quality.
  • Willingness to travel 60% is required.
  • 3-9 years of experience in sales of power systems is preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with electric substation equipment is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Operations & Maintenance practices.
  • Experience negotiating long-term service contracts.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Technical knowledge of service products and solutions.
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Work authorization in the USA is required.
