This position is an integral member of an agile software engineer team responsible for building scalable software applications across all digital channels to serve customers. The role involves taking an enterprise-wide architectural view of solutions and executing products using a suitable technical stack.

In Short

Design and create engineering specifications for software applications.
Write code adhering to coding standards and perform code reviews.
Participate in all scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning.
Monitor technical processes against project plans ensuring functionality and performance.
Mentor junior software engineers as needed.
Translate design mockups into working applications.
Drive story creation and manage tasks in software tools like Jira.
Communicate issues and blockers to the Scrum Master promptly.
Explore and implement technical solutions for product features.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and design patterns.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
5 years of experience in software design, analysis, and development.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript).
Experience with web services technologies such as REST and JSON.
Understanding of system architectures and technical feasibility trade-offs.
Preferred 7 years of experience in technology systems design in healthcare.
Experience with machine learning is a plus.
Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn new programming languages as needed.
