Lead Engineer - SDET - Remote

Overview

HighLevel is looking for a highly skilled Lead Engineer - SDET to take ownership of the testing strategy and ensure the delivery of high-quality products through automation frameworks and best practices.

In Short

• Define and implement automation testing strategies.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams.
• Set clear goals for the QA team.
• Hire and mentor SDETs.
• Develop and maintain test plans and automation scripts.
• Oversee daily automated test runs and analyze results.
• Ensure comprehensive automation coverage.
• Identify inefficiencies in testing processes.
• Research and integrate new testing tools.
• Act as a quality advocate throughout the development cycle.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java/JavaScript or similar languages.
• Experience with Playwright/Selenium or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, RestAssured, JMeter, or k6.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Good experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of OWASP, ZAP, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
