Overview

HighLevel is seeking a Software Development Engineer III to manage the CRM Bulk Import product, enabling seamless data integration from external CRMs into HighLevel's systems.

In Short

• Own the full lifecycle of the CRM Bulk Import product.
• Design and evolve the import pipeline for efficiency.
• Build stateless proxy services for third-party CRM APIs.
• Tackle distributed systems challenges like idempotency and retries.
• Ensure the integration layer remains CRM-agnostic.
• Design and maintain import data contracts.

Requirements

• 4+ years in building production backend systems.
• Strong knowledge in distributed systems and API design.
• Experience with Node.js (NestJS preferred) or Go.
• Track record of owning services end-to-end.
• Experience with third-party REST API integrations.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
• Understanding of scalability and reliability trade-offs.
