Lead Engineer - Remote

Overview

Your role is to take an active leadership and development role as a Lead Engineer to bring designs provided by our UX and Visual Design teams to life. You will be working with a Project Manager, Strategists, Designers, and other Developers and QA Engineers.

• Collaborative mindset in working with teams of Producers, other Developers, and UX/Visual Designers.
• In-depth understanding of the Web development process, from design to development, QA, and deployment.
• Ability to analyze the viability and feasibility of designs, and to provide constructive feedback.
• Clear understanding of how to extract the information necessary to perform your work.
• Research and analysis of complex solutions and features.
• Understanding of the impact of business priorities on technical outcomes.
• Solution-orientedness and being adept at finding efficiencies.
• Understanding and writing technical documentation.
• Strong familiarity with collaboration tools like Confluence, Jira, and Figma.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Tech Leadership experience.
• Ability to define website architecture from scratch.
• Strong understanding of headless CMS architecture and API-driven content management systems.
• Experience in full-stack development using Node.js, React, and Next.js.
• Proficiency in TypeScript for writing maintainable and scalable code.
